What is Lamination?

All our stripe kits as standard come without lamination. They are to a certain degree UV and weather proof, but not very scratch proof and certainly not petrol proof. If you choose for them to be laminated this will give extra protection to your printed graphics, making them look brighter for longer, and more UV / weather proof, certainly much better scratch resistance and petrol will not cause the ink to run, unlike the non laminated ones.

The laminate we use is matched to the digital vinyl we print the kits on, and is a high gloss laminate.

There will be no application tape on the laminated kits as they are thick enough just to peel and apply to your scooter.
